BPF was selected from among many Bay Area non-profit agencies in recognition of their long-standing commitment to helping local underserved populations: grandmothers raising their own grandchildren, fathers and father figures, single parents, teenage fathers and mothers, and survivors of domestic violence.
“We encourage our customers to give back to their local community in a very simple way by participating in our Nickels for Nonprofits program,” said Tina Manickam, Marketing and Community Outreach Team Leader for Whole Foods Market, Campbell. “Over the years, all of those nickels have really added up. To date, Whole Foods Campbell has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to support local nonprofit agencies like Building Peaceful Families.”
Building Peaceful Families volunteers will be at Whole Foods Market, 1690 South Bascom Avenue in Campbell on Wednesday, November 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to share information with customers.
